At Hitachi Plant Technologies, our management philosophy and vision include contributing to the development of an ideal society and fulfilling our social responsibilities based on a strict set of ethical values. We are working hard to fulfill our corporate responsibilities to society in coordination with the “Hitachi Group’s Policy for CSR Activities.”
We are focusing our energy on Community Partnership Academy of Wisdom, a program to teach children about the
environment and science, as a contribution to society appropriate for our group, which supports infrastructure though
environmental and energy efficient technology. President Sumikawa and young employees involved in these activities discussed the Group's social contributions and CSR.
Within the Group, unique contributions to society are being developed by each office.
We invited seven women working on contributions to society from various perspectives within the
Group and Hitachi Group companies to talk about contributing to society and what they think makes
a work-friendly workplace, one with a work environment conducive to efforts to contribute to society.
