In power station require the installation of large equipment such as water turbines, generators, transformers, and overhead cranes, as well as piping and electrical construction.
Hydraulic power station uses clean energy to supply electrical power. We install water turbines and generators, these are major equipment in power stations in both Japan and overseas. We apply its technical construction capabilities in the construction of large water pumps as well as wind turbine.
We have completed projects for electrical power companies in both Japan and overseas, and for government agencies in Japan.

The scope of our work includes construction (design, manufacturing, and installation) and preventive maintenance (modification construction and update construction).
This shows the installation of the runner for a 86,000-kW Kaplan turbine on an overseas site. The water turbine runner was shipped from the factory in Japan, was assembled, and installed on site.
The runner weights 130 tons and has 7.4 m diameter.
This is part of a hydraulic power station that has 10 water turbines and generators with capacity of 216,000 kW. Besides the main water turbine and generator equipment, we installed a 720-ton overhead crane, the main transformer, and peripheral equipment.
The construction period was required 10 years from the start of construction to commercial operation.
This shows the installation of the rotor of a 250,000-kW generator for a hydraulic power station. The rotor weighed a total of 700 tons, and was assembled on-site over a period of 6 months that were delivered to the site. After assembly, the rotor was installed in its designed location using a 720-ton overhead crane.

The weight of the water turbine runner was 180 tons, but there was no lifting equipment at the port near the site, so a ship with a derrick crane was chartered and transported from Japan.
We have been involved in the construction of a large hydraulic power station on the Caroni River in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for over 30 years since 1978. The gross output of the Caroni River project is about 18 million kW, which is equivalent to the output of 18 large nuclear power stations.
