Every year, the level of environmental damage from rising global populations is increasing. This is attributable to the growing volume of sewage generated and the deteriorating quality of sewage from urbanization and industrialization throughout the world.
In order to address these problems, various processes and systems are being employed, as all wastewater differs in composition and concentration.
Hitachi Plant Technologies offers a wide variety of advanced technologies to remove nitrogen and phosphorus in the treatment of sewage.

Our Product Line
Grit Chamber and screen Facilities

Features
As screenings and grit are transported through piping, no foul odors are generated as sewage and filth are safely contained. Waste products are transported while being mixed and agitated with pressurized water. This sanitary method maximizes cleanliness.
By switching the pressure water valve, the jet pump can automatically transport refuse and lift grit from a multiple number of tanks.

- Thickening Facilities
- Dewatering Facilities
Methane gas is a by-product of sludge digestion. If released into the atmosphere, it contributes to global warming. However it is also a rich source of energy. Our Digestion Facilities incorporates a gas tank which collects and stores the methane gas emitted for reuse in heater boilers and gas power generators, reducing damage done to the environment and lowering your energy costs.
Ovel Digestion Tank
Screw Type Sludge Mixer
Low-pressure Gas Tank
Medium-pressure Gas Tank
Dewatering facilities mechanically dehydrate concentrated sludge and digested sludge. These facilities considerably reduce the amount of sludge discharged from treatment systems.

Oxidation Ditch System
The oxidation ditch system performs biological oxidation of organic substances through simultaneous circulation and aeration of wastewater by an aeration unit installed in the circulation ditch. This system can be easily maintained because it is mounted above the oxidation ditch, increasing treatment reliability over time, regardless of changes in the amount and quality of incoming sewage.

Multi-function Building Drainage Tank Aerator
A multi-function machine that simultaneously aerates, agitates and crushes scum, to prevent scum and odors in a building wastewater tank.
Features
- This unit is easy to install and maintain as it has a simple design and is directly installed
- It can be carried through a manhole with a diameter of 450 mm or more without modification
- The motor is directly coupled which makes it energy efficient
