These processes have earned a successful reputation among customers' around the world.
It is also possible to test process and operating conditions for other chemicals in our experimental installation. With this know-how, we can offer assurance of the quality of the products. We are in a good position to provide more than simply EPC solutions; we can provide our customers' with the appropriate facilities, starting from the plant-planning phase.
An annual plant capacity of 1.5million tons was realized, as of December 2009, according to our own research. It has also been highly evaluated by the customer for the quality of the PTA produced, as well as raw material consumption per unit of product. The strength of our technology makes a significant contribution to the success of our customers' business.
Our process also produces good quality PBT, from PTA and 1.4-butanediol (BDO). Going forward, PBT will be an indispensable component of engineering plastics. We produce PBT of the quality our customers' requirements. We can also accommodate needs for BDO production plants and tetrahydrofuran recovery and refinery plants
PLA is a bioplastic produced from lactic acid derived from botanical sources. This polymer, which is defined as carbon-neutral because it is biodegradable and made from renewable biomass, is expected to make a big contribution to CO2 reduction. We began developing this process in 2000, and finally we succeeded in devising a practical method. We support our customers' operations from procurement of lactic acid through the production process itself, to establishing sales routes for their PLA products. This contributes both to the success of our customers' business and to the prevention of global warming.

In our test facilities, we can carry out process verification and confirmation for processes for various polymers made by the melt polymerization method. Our plants feature a full lineup of equipment indispensable for the handling of High-viscous materials; we also design and provide equipment.
