Main Motor Improved reliability and ease of maintenance through utilization of a fully enclosed motor.
Main Motor Starter By using a high voltage (Low voltage) starter that is built into the compressor package, installation and wiring work is simplified.
OMCS (Oil Mist Capturing System) Environmentally conscious design, with an OMCS added as standard equipment to collect oil mist from gear casing.
Air Block (single stage element / two stage element) High efficiency and longer life, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
Air Filter 2 types of unwoven synthetic cloth are used, and is configured in a 3 dimensional construction. The unwoven cloth can be washed, and the simple one-touch installation makes maintenance easy.

Achieved a High Level of Energy Saving Operation through Hitachi's Unique Constant Terminal Pressure Control

APC (Active Power Control) [Patented]
The NICS (New Intelligent Control System) calculates the air volume consumption and the piping pressure loss, and automatically controls the load/unload pressure setting value of the compressor so that the plant pressure is kept constant. Automatic operation (pressure control) according to changes in the air consumption amount, suppresses energy consumption. This unit is the next generation in energy efficient compressor pressure control.

PSC (Power Save Control) [Patented]
Unloading pressure is lowered according the load rate of the air compressor, and by cutting excess air pressure, energy efficiency is achieved.

2. Easy Maintenance [Reduction of Maintenance Costs through Application of New Structures and Materials]

Self Diagnostic Function by the NICS

Because results of diagnosis are displayed in 3 levels (separated by cause) of <preventative maintenance>, <alarm>, and <trip> on the LCD monitor, it is possible to respond quickly and accurately to problems.

Reduction of Maintenance Cost

Maintenance cycle were extended by significantly improving the durability of the air block and various main components. In addition, disassembly and assembly was simplified in order to reduce maintenance costs.

3. Ecology [Achieved a High Level Reduction of Environmental Loads]

Low Vibration/Low Noise

Low vibration and low noise were achieved by increasing the rigidity of the casing, optimizing device layouts and using an output silencer.

Environmental Protection Using the OMCS (Oil Mist Capturing System)

Oil mist from the gear casing is collected to maintain a clean environment.

4. Indication [Equipped with a Large Color LCD Monitor]

Various operating conditions and setting data can be viewed on a large color LCD monitor.

5. Intelligence [Equipped with a Highly Functional Intelligent Control Panel]

NICS (New Intelligent Control System) Provides a Variety of Operating Functions.

  • Simple setting of energy saving functions such as control pressure value, APC, and PSC on the panel
  • Display of various operating status (Temperature/Pressure/Air consumption amount/load rate, etc.)
  • Operating history display
  • Preventative maintenance, alarm and trip indication.

Multiple Unit Control Function (Optional)

  • A multiple unit control function is built into the NICS. (Maximum of 9 units can be controlled.)
  • By combined control with APC and PSC energy saving operation functions, even further energy savings are gained.
  • Equipped with a multitude of control functions, such as base load unit settings.

Equipped Standard with a Communications Port
