• This is a circulating pump to supply the primary coolant (liquid metal) to the FBR reactor core.
• Hitachi has developed a mechanical type, vertical centrifugal pump with a free sodium level for Fast Breeder Reactors. From the first Japan-made 1m³/min. pump to larger capacities of up to 100 m³/min., we are confident that the experience and technological expertise acquired in this process will enable us to incorporate the high level of reliability needed for all parts of the pump.
